Goldenrod is a flowering plant in the Solidago genus. Its aerial parts are prepared as teas, extracts, or tinctures.
People use goldenrod for urinary tract comfort and to encourage kidney flushing. Some herbal traditions also employ it for seasonal respiratory support.
Take it as a tea sipped throughout the day, or as a liquid extract.
Avoid goldenrod if you have edema from heart or kidney problems. Do not use it during pregnancy. It may interact with diuretics or lithium.
